Happy Thursday K class. I know all of you love animals so today we are going to the farm on a virtual field trip. I know you are going to love all the animas. I am wondering how many of these animals you have seen before. Enjoy!!!!
1.Math: Missing numbers! See if you can figure out the teen numbers that are missing for each of the birds in each row! I also included a practice sheet for numbers 1-10 if this feels like a better fit or start for your child.
2.Word Work: Bubble Words! Today you are on the hut for words with the short U sound. Tap out each word to read it, and then color in the bubbles with the letter U sound!
3. Movement/ Creativity/Art: Get outside and have fun blowing bubbles! Don’t have bubbles? Mix dish soap and water in a plate or cup to make your own bubbles! You can make a circle out of a pipe cleaner to make your own bubble wand! You can even add food coloring to your bubble mixture and try blowing the bubbles onto a piece of paper to create bubble art! Check out this website for more fun bubble related activities: https://teaching2and3yearolds.com/how-to-put-together-amazing-bubble-activities/
4. Virtual Field Trip! Today we will be visiting an animal farm! The K class usually plans a field trip to a farm or two in the spring. This year we will visit a farm virtually!
5. SPECIALS: Log onto one of the specialist teacher’s blog spaces (music, art, PE, or Library) and choose one to complete today. Every week new assignments are being posted at the K grade level!
