Surveys

Taking surveys, making surveys, giving surveys, and reading survey information. Students have been practicing using tally marks, pictorial representations, and numbers. We will then transfer our data into graphs, and use the graphs as a means to gain information from our surveys. Students brought a COOKIE SURVEY home to complete with their families, and the class will work as a group to collect and compile all of these surveys, create a class graph, and reveal our results to the school community! If you haven’t returned your survey yet, please do so ASAP so all surveys may be included! Thank you for your help!

Future Engineers at Work!

Our class has been having fun exploring and creating with K’Nex. Some students use the picture cards as guides or inspiration for new ideas, and some are unique masterpieces! They are all learning how different pieces work or fit together, creating different angles, and ways to create joints and movement. It’s really amazing to watch their concentration as they are hard at work!

In like a lion…

Be sure to stop by and check out the Kindergarten Boards. K came up with some great  creative wishes in case they catch a Leprechaun this spring, and decorated umbrellas in preparation for April showers and the green grass and flowers it will bring!

One of the goats on Alina’s farm had babies! A BIG thanks to Alina’s parents, Bethany and Seth, for bringing in the baby to visit with Preschool and Kindergarten. We had so much fun! We can’t wait to hear what you choose for a name!
