Dear Kindergarten Class,

As we reach the final full week of kindergarten, there are many mixed feelings. Excitement about the approach of summer, the sadness that Kindergarten is over, and the many memories that were made this year. As a parting gift, I have created a keepsake portfolio/scrapbook for each of you, with highlights from each month of school. My hope is that this portfolio reminds you always of the importance of play, of all of the wonderful friends who will be eager to see you again in the fall, and all the happiness we shared this year. Thank you Kindergarten for another wonderful story celebration! The guiding question for our Author’s Celebration was “What do you think is the best dessert ever and why? Persuade me!” We had many delicious desserts discussed and yummy samples to “seal the deal!” Did we persuade you?? Congratulations again kindergarten, I am so proud of all of the hard work you do every day! Way to go!
