Diversity is a big and deep word. As kindergarten begins exploring this term, and its many related terms, we will begin by looking inward and thinking about what makes each of us awesome and celebrating who we are as individuals. We will also celebrate our families and the many ways our families are important/special to us. No two individuals, or families, or exactly alike!  I have attached below a wonderful audio recording of Maya Angelou reciting her poem “Human Family.”
